Job Description

  • Teach small classes of 4-12 (adult) students per class.
  • 3-4 hours face-to-face teaching a day, 5 days a week (Monday - Friday)
  • Motivate students to improve their English skills (particularly verbal, reading, and writing skills)

Requirement

  • NATIVE English speakers
  • Business and/or teaching experience is preferred
  • Responsible for effective teaching
  • Passionate, hospitable, patient, and flexible

Summer Camp Instructor at Omeida

Overview

Omeida Language College offers a series of summer camp including the outdoor activities, public speaking and STEAM plus English study to our students (between the ages of 7 and 16) with the purpose of giving students the opportunity to improve their general skills in a fun and welcoming environment!

We are currently seeking teachers for the months of July and August, 2022

What You Will Do

1. Participate fully in 2-8 week long camp /classes. 2. Lead and instruct the children aged from 7-16 for different activities and English improvement. 3. Maintain a classroom atmosphere which nurtures and supports a learning environment.

Requirements

  • Native English speakers that are currently in China
  • Prior teaching experience preferred, especially the experience with camp leading or sport teaching.

What You Will Do

ESL/EFL for adults and K12 Teaching courses to adults and K-12 students who are learning English as a foreign language through video class. Omeida provides courses of various topics for teachers to use.
Responsibilities include: • Planning and preparing for lessons • Providing lessons for students according to their educational needs • Giving students feedback including homework • Promoting the general progress of students Our ideal candidate: • A native English speaker • Experience teaching English • Strong proficiency in using the internet • Fast comprehension and high flexibility • Friendly, outgoing personality • Having a computer with a stable internet, a webcam and a headset.
